Before You Fly!

When you book with Complete Orlando, we want to ensure that everything runs smoothly.  Getting prepared for your Orlando holiday can sometimes be just a stressful as actually booking your holiday.  It is always good to be prepared and we want you to enjoy every aspect of your holiday experience.

It can be quite a task finding out what important information you need to know about before you go away, so we've put together a handy list of the most important things:

1. Passports & Visas
All passports and/or visas for your holiday must be obtained by you, whose responsibility it remains to ensure that these are all in order and to meet any additional costs incurred as a result of failure to comply with such requirements.  The majority of British machine-readable passports holders do not normally require a visa* to visit the USA providing you will be in the USA no more than 90 days, hold a return ticket, do not have a criminal record and complete a Visa Waiver Form.  We strongly recommend that you contact the US Embassy for full details of the conditions of the Visa Waiver and/or entry requirements as exclusions apply.

IMPORTANT: Some travellers may not be eligible to enter the United States visa free under the Visa Waiver Program. These include people who have been arrested, even if the arrest did not result in a criminal conviction, those with criminal records, (the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act does not apply to U.S. visa law), certain serious communicable illnesses, those who have been refused admission into, or have been deported from, the United States, or have previously overstayed on the VWP. Such travellers must apply for special restricted visas. If you attempt to travel without a visa, you may be refused entry into the United States.

2. Electronic System for Travel Authorisation (ESTA)
Firstly, and the most import is that you apply for your Electronic System for Travel Authorisation.  This can be done up to 72 hours prior to travel HOWEVER we recommend you complete this as soon as possible, even before you book your holiday with Complete Orlando.

3. Advance Passenger Information (APIS)
If you booked flights with Complete Orlando, you shall send your holiday documentation 2-3 weeks prior to travel.  Within this pack you will receive your flight e-tickets.  It is now compulsory that you complete your Advance Passenger Information with your airline.  You must supply this information to your airline at least 72 hours prior to travel

4. Secure Flight Passenger Data (SFPD)
Secure Flight Passenger Data is a new security system that has been introduced by the United States Transportation Security Administration (TSA) for passengers on all flights travelling in and out of the USA, on or after 27 July 2010.  The TSA requires you to provide mandatory Secure Flight Passenger Data no later than 4 days prior to departure.  Please note that SFPD does not replace API.
